Our Newport site based in Rogerstone is one of the largest and most advanced food manufacturing facilities in Europe, with over 1500 employees, turning over £140 million per year. This is a fantastic opportunity for a you to join this highly successful site.

You will report to the Department Team Manager and the shift pattern will be based on our 7-Day Fortnight with alternating weekends which consists of:

7 day fortnight,Nights Weekdays 18.00-05.00 Weekends 17.00-04.00, 

Role Responsibility

Accountabilities: 

Operational Performance

Main Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and sanitation of all production equipment ensuring production line start up times are met.
  •  Cleaning and sanitation of production machinery.
  • Adhering to Health and Safety practices.
  • Completing hygiene records.
  • Completing daily, weekly and periodic cleans of machinery and production room fabrication.

Health and Safety 

  • Have responsibility for H&S within area
  • Responsible for adherence to H&S policy

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

- Previous experience in production would be advantageous

  • -Chemical experience preferred
  • COSHH awareness preferred
  • Good attention to detail is desirable

*Understanding of the fundamentals of food production

  • You must be able to work without direct supervision, be self motivated, and have a real desire to get the right result.
  • Ability to complete paperwork when required
  • Good communicator and the have the ability to influence.
  • Experience of working in a team
  • Have a good understanding of production
  • Flexibility
  • Clean as you go mentality
  • Adhere to quality standards
