Shift Pattern

Monthly Rotation: 3 weeks working 3 x 12 hours, 1 week working 4 x 12 hours (rotating days & nights 05.00-17.00/17.00-05.00)

About the role

As a Senior Operative within the cooking team, you will support the day-to-day running of the kitchen area, helping to deliver safe, high-quality products in a fast-paced environment. You will take a leading role in ensuring all products are prepared and cooked accurately, consistently meeting required specifications while adhering to production plans.

You will lead by example on the kitchens area, guiding and motivating team members, supporting training, and helping new starters settle into the role. A key part of your responsibilities will include monitoring cooking processes, and maintaining product quality, while ensuring all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are upheld at all times.

You will also oversee the use of ingredients, equipment, and labour within the cooking area, helping to minimise waste and maximise efficiency. Working closely with your team and management, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while fostering a positive, supportive, and respectful working environment.
